Civil Registry Authority in Dhamar Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday with Commemorative Event

Dhamar: The Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority branch in Dhamar Governorate organized a commemorative event honoring the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi), peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhayti emphasized the occasion's significance in renewing commitment to the Prophet's noble values of justice, compassion, tolerance, and defending the oppressed. The event was attended by notable figures such as Abdulmalik Al-Bariq, Saleh Binoun, Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jabin, as well as senior security and cultural officials.

The celebration was framed as a catalyst for "changing the nation's unjust and humiliating reality," highlighting the importance of the Prophet's teachings in addressing contemporary issues. Officials drew parallels between the Prophet's legacy and current struggles, emphasizing solidarity with Palestine.

The event featured poetic recitations and religious chants performed by local artists, enriching the commemorative atmosphere with cultural and spiritual expressions.
