Sanaa: Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei, accompanied by First Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Issam al-Sanini, today visited stage and television actor Mohammed Muqbil Mu'id, who is receiving treatment at a hospital in the Capital Sanaa.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. al-Yafei inquired about the actor's health, affirming the ministry's commitment to supporting and assisting artists, intellectuals, and creative figures, as well as looking into their circumstances and alleviating their hardships within the available means.
Dr. al-Yafei praised Mu'id's role in enriching Yemen's cultural and creative scene, portraying a positive image of Yemeni art, customs, and authentic traditions through the television and stage works he has taken part in. He also commended Mu'id's artistic and cultural contributions and his honorable national positions.
The Minister of Culture and Tourism presented the actor with financial assistance for medical treatment from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Mu'id expressed gratitude to the minister for his repeated visits since the onset of his illness and his contribution toward treatment costs, stressing that such visits reflect the ministry leadership's genuine care for artists.
