Dhamar: The Dhamar branch of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority organized a speech event on Saturday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). During the event, Province Undersecretary Mahmoud al-Jubain discussed the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as an occasion to recall the noble life of the Prophet and learn about his stances in facing challenges and spreading the values of truth, justice, and morality. He pointed out that commemorating this occasion embodies the love of Yemenis for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and their adherence to his guidance and teachings.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Jubain emphasized the importance of serious and early preparation for active participation in the major central event to be held on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, which will strengthen the connection to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), reflect the occasion's place in the hearts of the people, and enhance its social presence. He pointed out that celebrating the Prophet's birthday should be an opportunity to replenish oneself with the values and principles established by the Prophet Muhammad, and to translate his morals and life into practical behavior within society. He urged drawing lessons and inspiration from the Prophet's life and his approach to building society and strengthening the values of solidarity, unity, and steadfastness.
For his part, Colonel Abdulkarim Al-Bukhaiti, Director of the branch of the department, affirmed that the anniversary of the Prophet's birth is an opportunity to recall the character of the greatest Prophet and the noble values and humanitarian principles of his message, which contributed to bringing the nation out of darkness into light. He explained that this occasion reinforces awareness of the importance of emulating the Prophet in patience, steadfastness, responsibility, and community service.
Ali Al-Awsh, Deputy Head of the Culture Sector in the governorate, indicated that commemorating the Prophet's birthday solidifies awareness of his life and introduces generations to his great stances in supporting the oppressed, defending the truth, and establishing a society governed by justice, brotherhood, and compassion. He called for preparations for the major event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, and for the celebrations of the occasion to be displayed in a manner befitting its importance.
