Sana'a: On this day, February 25, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted residential neighborhoods, farms, and roads in multiple provinces, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of civilians and the destruction of public and private property, amounting to war crimes.
According to Yemen News Agency, on February 25, 2016, airstrikes by the aggression's aircraft resulted in the martyrdom of citizen Mohammed Al-Ebi and injuries to four others, including a woman and a child, in the Bayt Muayad area of Al-Sabeen District in the Capital Secretariat. The attack also caused severe damage to neighboring houses. Raids were also launched on the areas of Attan, Al-Nahdain, and Al-Sabeen, along with an airstrike in the Suwan area in Azal District east of the capital, causing severe damage to homes, shops, and public property.
In Taiz Governorate, four civilians were martyred and four others injured in two airstrikes on Dimnat Khadir District, with additional airstrikes targeting various districts causing significant damages. In Saada Governorate's Razih District, two women were injured, a girl went missing, and homes were destroyed due to an airstrike. The aggression's aircraft carried out over 40 airstrikes in various districts within Sana'a Governorate and beyond, causing severe damage to agricultural lands and homes.
Airstrikes over the years have consistently resulted in civilian casualties and property destruction. On February 25, 2017, five children were martyred in Taiz Governorate, and similar attacks across various districts resulted in further loss of life and damage. The aggression's aircraft targeted homes, schools, and farms, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
On February 25, 2018, similar patterns of aggression continued, with missile and artillery shelling causing casualties and destruction of homes and farms in Saada Governorate. Airstrikes in other areas further contributed to the devastation.
February 25, 2019, saw intensified artillery shelling by mercenaries in Marib and Hodeida Governorates, leading to more civilian casualties and property damage. Airstrikes continued to target various districts, including educational institutions.
In 2020, shelling and airstrikes by mercenaries and aggression's aircraft led to injuries, destruction of property, and significant damage in several governorates, with attacks on gold exploration sites and civilian infrastructure.
The pattern of aggression persisted through February 25, 2021, with artillery shelling and airstrikes across multiple governorates causing civilian casualties and substantial property damage. On February 25, 2022, similar attacks resulted in the martyrdom of civilians, including African migrants, and further destruction of property.
Most recently, on February 25, 2023, airstrikes and shelling continued in Hodeida Governorate, causing ongoing suffering and destruction for civilians in the affected areas.
