Marib: The districts of al-Jubah, Serwah, Badbadah, Majzar, Rahbah, and Jabal Murad witnessed on Sunday closing events and celebrations for the 1447 AH summer courses under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad.'
According to Yemen News Agency, in al-Jubah district, a closing event for the summer courses took place in the presence of Marib governor Ali Taiman. During the event, the governorate's mobilization official, Badr al-Majash, emphasized the importance of summer schools in building an aware generation equipped with knowledge, adhering to Quranic culture and faith-based identity, while staying away from deviant ideas and misguided cultures. The speeches at the event praised the efforts of teachers in successfully conducting the summer school activities.
In Serwah district, particularly in the Dawar and Habat areas, the events celebrated the success of the summer activities as a result of official and popular cooperation. The speeches noted that the community's engagement and keenness to enroll their children in these courses reflect a high level of awareness to confront challenges and resist attempts to mislead generations.
Badbadah district hosted two closing events attended by local and mobilization leaders. These events featured creative performances and chanting segments, showcasing the students' knowledge and skills acquired during the course period.
Majzar district also organized a closing event and student awards ceremony. The speeches praised those managing the summer schools and expressed gratitude to parents for their cooperation and commitment to sending their children to participate and benefit from the diverse programs.
In Rahbah district, a closing and award event was held for students and teachers. The speeches highlighted that summer courses have become an active educational and training space to refine students' talents and develop their scientific, cultural, and creative abilities.
Lastly, in Jabal Murad district, a closing ceremony was held for the summer courses, featuring chanting performances, creative segments, and awards for students and teachers.
