Sana'a: Closing ceremonies for the summer courses of the year 1447 AH were held today at the Martyr Al Samad Center in Al Qarah area and Wadi Al Jar in Bilad Al Roos district, Sana'a governorate. The events aimed to celebrate the educational achievements and cultural enrichment provided by the summer courses.
According to Yemen News Agency, district director Saleh Naji emphasized the importance of the summer courses in imparting knowledge related to the Quran and its sciences, aiming to preserve the faith-based identity and enhance religious adherence. Mobilization official Ahmed Al Yasani highlighted the success of the courses in offering cultural, intellectual, and creative activities to protect students from misguided ideas, commending the teachers and organizers for their dedication.
In Hamdan district, the closing ceremony was organized under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad" in the southern and northern Shamilan squares. District director Fahd Attia stated that this year's successful courses reflect collective engagement against oppressive forces, including America and Israel. The ceremony honored outstanding students and educators, acknowledging the efforts of the executive committee and educational staff.
Jihanah district's event in Al Sahman sub-district featured speeches emphasizing the courses' role in developing youth's knowledge and religious values. Attendees, including education sector heads and executive office directors, participated in student presentations and an art exhibition showcasing the knowledge gained. Symbolic gifts and certificates were distributed to commendable students and staff.
In Bani Matar district, the Matna square hosted the concluding ceremony under the same slogan. Education sector head Yahya Al Kahli underscored the courses' significance in youth protection and value instillation, praising educational staff and parental support. Head of guidance Mohammed Al Qasimi reiterated the courses' impact on fortifying youth against harmful cultures. The ceremony featured poems, chants, and recognition of students and teachers for their contributions.
