Sanaa: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, has extended his condolences following the death of Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Tawfiq Abbad. Sheikh Abbad was recognized for his unwavering dedication and service to the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat sent a telegram to Sheikh Abbad's brothers, Ali, Abdulhamid, Tawfiq, and the rest of the family. In the message, he commended Sheikh Abbad for his contributions to his country and community. The president noted Sheikh Abbad's significant role in opposing the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen, as well as his involvement in social affairs, reconciliation efforts, and community service.
President Al-Mashat emphasized the importance of supporting social initiatives and the mobilization for frontline efforts. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Abbad's family in the Al-I'mas region of Al-Saddah District, Ibb Governorate. He prayed for Allah Almighty to grant Sheikh Abbad mercy, admit him to His spacious gardens, and provide his family with patience and solace.
The telegram concluded with the phrase, "Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return."
