Sana'a: Closing and honoring activities were held in Al-Thawra District in the Capital Secretariat for students of the 1447 AH summer courses under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad,' with official and community attendance.
According to Yemen News Agency, the concluding events were organized by Al-Hashhoush Centers in Al-Jaraf Al-Gharbi neighborhood, Martyr Ismail Haniyeh Center in Al-Nahda neighborhood, Martyr Bashir Al-Suhimi Center in Al-Hasaba Al-Shamaliya neighborhood, Al-Thalaya School in Al-Hasaba Al-Janubiya neighborhood, and Mohammed Ma'id Center in Tunisia neighborhood. These events were supervised by the Executive Committee for Summer Courses, General Mobilization, and the Educational Zone in Al-Thawra District.
The closing ceremonies saw the presence of scholars, executive and educational leaders, cultural and social figures, sheikhs, neighborhood representatives, follow-up committees, directors, staff of the summer centers, and parents. The events featured speeches, choral performances, poetry recitals, scouting displays, and creative presentations by the students.
The various segments and performances highlighted the skills and knowledge the students acquired during the summer study period. They showcased the extent of students' benefit from the programs and activities in different fields.
During the events, students raised copies of the Holy Quran, affirming their reverence, sanctification, and commitment to the Book of Allah and its guidance. They also raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, reflecting the presence of the Palestinian cause and Islamic holy sites in their consciousness, alongside the positions and identity of the Yemeni people.
The speeches highlighted the importance of summer courses and their role in building a conscious Qur'anic generation equipped with knowledge, values, and faith-based ethics, capable of taking responsibility, building their nation and Ummah, and facing challenges.
Participants praised the role of the teaching and administrative staff and the efforts made to strengthen students' awareness and insight. They commended the students' engagement and the success achieved by this year's summer activities and courses.
