Sana'a: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism mourned the passing of Professor Dr. Abdul-Hakim Shaif Mohammed Ghaleb, Head of the Department of Archaeology and Tourism at the Faculty of Arts, Sana'a University, who passed away after a life dedicated to service. The statement of condolence, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), praised the deceased's virtues and his outstanding research, academic, and scientific contributions to the service of national antiquities, heritage, and culture.
According to Yemen News Agency, his passing was considered a great loss to the nation, as he was a highly effective and capable academic figure who made significant contributions throughout his scientific and academic career to the service of national antiquities, cultural heritage, and civilization.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism expressed its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased, his relatives, colleagues, students, and the academic and cultural community, asking Allah Almighty to grant him His abundant mercy and forgiveness, to admit him to His spacious Paradise, and to grant his family, relatives, and loved ones patience and solace.
