Closing of Capacity-Building Workshop for Media Personnel in Al-Jabeen District

Raymah: A training and capacity-building workshop for media personnel in Al-Jabeen District, Raymah Governorate, concluded on Monday. The workshop was organized by the local authority and the mobilization office in the district, in coordination with the Governorate Media Office and Media Unit.

According to Yemen News Agency, the two-day workshop aimed to equip 25 participants with knowledge and skills in news coverage techniques, media confrontation methods, and strengthening ideological identity in journalistic and media work. At the closing ceremony, Deputy Governor Mohammed Murad praised the efforts of the district's local authority leadership, the mobilization office, and the governorate media office in organizing such training workshops. He stressed the importance of providing media cadres with the necessary skills to keep pace with developments and the current circumstances facing the country.

The Director of the Governorate Media Office, Khaled Al-Jama'i, explained that one 'media knight' was selected from each sub-district to ensure comprehensive media coverage and reporting of official and community activities. This initiative aims to enhance societal awareness in confronting challenges, thereby supporting the official media in the governorate. Meanwhile, the District Director Majed Amin and the District Mobilization Official Ridwan Al-Hadidi noted that the 'media knights' represent a key pillar in society and in the media front.
