Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning reported the continued impact of the cold wave on wide parts of the northern and northwestern mountainous highlands. The center expected in its weather bulletin that the weather will be cold to very cold during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, north of Ibb, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan with frost formation on limited parts of them.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather may also be cold in the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, and parts of the deserts and plateaus of Hadramout and Shabwah. The center warned citizens in the mountainous highlands or travelers to these areas of the impact of the cold, especially the elderly, children, the sick, and those working during the night and early morning.
The center also advised farmers to take necessary precautions to protect their agricultural crops from the effects of frost.
