Cold Weather Forecasted for Mountainous Highlands and Deserts

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted cold and relatively cold weather conditions in the mountainous highlands and parts of the deserts and plateaus over the next 24 hours. The center's weather bulletin indicates that the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al Bayda will experience cold weather during the night and early morning.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather in the highlands of the governorates of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale'a, Abyan, Lahj, along with parts of the deserts and plateaus of Hadramout and Shabwah, is expected to be relatively cold. The center has issued warnings to citizens, particularly the elderly, children, and the sick residing in these mountainous highlands, about the impending cold weather.

In addition to public advisories, the center has urged farmers to implement necessary precautions to safeguard their agricultural crops against the cold. The forecast highlights the need for proactive measures to mitigate potential impacts of the weather on health and agriculture.
