Al-suwaida: Al-Suwaida area in Mifa'a 'Anas district celebrated the fourth collective wedding, uniting 42 grooms and brides in a community initiative.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Maqdashi, Advisor to the Supreme Political Council, praised the initiative for promoting cooperation, reducing marriage costs, and protecting youth from social risks associated with delayed marriage. He urged families to simplify procedures, lower dowries, and avoid extravagance to help young couples build stable families.
The organizing committee described the initiative as charitable, open to youth unable to afford wedding expenses, and part of efforts to strengthen positive social values. Families expressed appreciation for the support, highlighting the role of collective weddings in easing financial burdens and fostering community solidarity.
