Ibb: The funeral of al-Nadera district director Abduljalil al-Shami was held on Thursday in al-Nadera district of Ibb Province, following his passing after a life dedicated to public service.
According to Yemen News Agency, mourners praised the late al-Shami's integrity, commitment, and significant contributions to his community and the nation. They described his death as a loss for the country, Ibb Province, and Al-Nadera District in particular, highlighting his service and his principled positions in confronting aggression and supporting the oppressed.
Al-Shami was laid to rest in Al-Nadera Cemetery after funeral prayers held at Al-Karama Stadium. Later, Governor Salah, along with members of the House of Representatives and Shura Council, local officials, military and security leaders, and social figures, offered condolences to the family. They conveyed the sympathies of the revolutionary and political leadership.
They expressed heartfelt condolences to the family, praying that God grant him mercy, admit him into His spacious gardens, and grant his loved ones patience and solace.
