Baku:Al-Dhale The funeral of Colonel Aqbah Mohammed Naji Al-Shami took place in the Damt District of Al-Dhalea Governorate. Colonel Al-Shami lost his life while serving in the defense of his homeland, focusing on its sovereignty, security, and stability.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony was attended by Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri, alongside deputy governors, security and military personnel, executive officials, and various social figures.
During the service, mourners commended Colonel Al-Shami's dedication and contributions, particularly his efforts in maintaining security and resisting aggression. They vowed to continue the legacy of the martyrs, emphasizing that their sacrifices would inspire ongoing efforts to enhance security, protect internal stability, and preserve national achievements.
Colonel Al-Shami was laid to rest in Al-Akirah village, his hometown within the Damt District.
