Sana'a: The local authority and the General Mobilization Committee in Al-Makhader District, Ibb Governorate, organized a commemorative event to mark Ashura, the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the district director, Nabil Al-Awadhi, explained that the events of Ashura and what befell the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) represent a pivotal moment in the history of the Muslim nation.
