Dhamar: Tribes in the Dhuran district of Dhamar governorate held a large armed rally on Wednesday, affirming their readiness and mobilization in response to the call of the Revolution Leader to end the aggression and blockade.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governorate's mobilization official, Ahmed al-Dhurani, praised the large turnout of Dhuran tribesmen, their honorable stances, and their great sacrifices on all fronts and in the face of the aggression. He considered the gathering of the Dhuran tribes with their equipment and weapons as confirmation of their high level of readiness and preparedness for all options taken by the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and an endorsement of his decision to end the aggression and blockade.
Al-Dhurani noted the coincidence of this tribal gathering with the commemoration of Ashura, emphasizing the importance of drawing lessons and inspiration from the school of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in steadfastness, resilience, and confronting tyranny. He affirmed that the Yemeni people will never submit or be humiliated and will remain at the forefront of those confronting the forces of disbelief and global hegemony and arrogance. He called upon all the tribes of Dhamar to mobilize and raise their readiness to meet the demands of the current phase.
In a speech on behalf of the sheikhs of Dhuran, Member of Parliament Muhammad al-Nahmi affirmed the unwavering stance of the people of Dhuran district and their readiness to sacrifice themselves and their wealth in defense of the homeland and the nation. He declared a general mobilization and comprehensive readiness for any options the leader of the revolution may adopt to end the aggression and the blockade. He commended the gathering of the Dhuran tribes, indicating that it reflects their awareness, support, and backing for the leadership's decisions, and sends a message to the enemy that they are fully prepared for any developments.
A statement issued at the rally, read by Sheikh Abdu al-Fadhli, affirmed that the Muslim people of Yemen are worthy of carrying the banner of Islam and confronting the dark, barbaric ignorance of our time, a banner carried by America and Israel and wielded by Jews and global Zionism. The statement pointed to the dangers and challenges facing the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and the occupation of a large portion of their land, the control of their national oil and gas resources, the ongoing violations of their sovereignty and independence, the blockade and comprehensive economic war, and the mobilization of extremists and mercenaries to kill and target the lives of Yemeni society.
The statement declared its full and absolute support for the statement issued by the leader of the revolution on the anniversary of the Prophet's migration (Hijra) in 1448 AH, calling for an end to the aggression and the blockade. It reiterated the continued readiness to confront any escalation or developments by the American and Israeli enemy targeting the region, attempting to isolate Gaza again, or any other arena within the axis of jihad and resistance, the countries of the region, and the peoples of the Islamic nation.
It called upon everyone to join the axis of jihad and resistance to liberate themselves from subjugation and subservience to the enemies of Islam, and to end aggression, occupation, and siege, so that the Yemeni people may enjoy independence and freedom, benefit from their resources, live with dignity and pride, and be freed from dependency and interference in their affairs, thus achieving a great renaissance based on their faith-based identity.
The statement also called upon the free people of Yemen, in both the north and south of the country, to unite and work diligently to confront the occupier until every inch of the country is liberated, its resources are recovered, and its freedom and independence are achieved. It concluded by extending congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and people, on the great victory achieved against the arrogant tyrants of our time, America and Israel.
