Sana'a: Speech events were held on Monday in the districts of Al-Nadirah, Yarim, Habash, Al-Makhader, and Al-Adin to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him). In Badan district, a tribal gathering was also held in observance of this anniversary and in solidarity with Gaza. The speeches at the events and the gathering emphasized following the example of Imam Zaid's life, his revolution, and his approach, particularly reviving the principle of enjoining good and forbidding evil, which tyrants have sought to distort.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches affirmed that Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) rose in difficult circumstances, driven by a profound faith and a deep concern for the Ummah, seeking to return it to the Quran to correct its course. They highlighted aspects of Imam Zaid's life and his revolution against injustice and tyranny, noting that his uprising was a natural extension of the revolution of his grandfather, Imam Hussein, upholding the same principles, objectives, and methods.
The speeches pointed out that the Ummah's current state and its weak stance toward Gaza necessitate a return to Imam Zaid's approach and revolution against tyranny, rooted in the Quran-the same stance taken by the free people of Yemen and their great leadership in supporting Gaza politically, militarily, and through media. They reaffirmed the steadfast position in support of Gaza against Zionist crimes and stressed the need to confront Zionist escalation against the people of Gaza with popular and military resistance until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted.
