Sana'a: The Endowments and Zakat Authorities in Sana'a commemorated the 19th anniversary of the passing of Allama Majd al-Din al-Mu'ayyadi, under the slogan "In the Realm of Knowledge and Scholars." The event paid tribute to the legacy of Allama Majd al-Din al-Mu'ayyadi, highlighting his impact on the scholarly community.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Head of the Endowments Authority emphasized that Allama Majd al-Din al-Mu'ayyadi was a significant figure among the flags of Ahl al-Bayt and played a key role in educating renowned scholars, including Allama Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The Head noted that the dignity Yemen experiences today is a result of the efforts of such scholars.
The Head of the Zakat Authority highlighted the deceased's biography, which intertwined knowledge and jihad. He urged attendees to draw lessons from it to confront current challenges, particularly the battle of awareness against oppressive forces and in support of the Palestinian cause. The commemoration included performances of poems and a choral operetta, celebrating the life and contributions of Allama Majd al-Din al-Mu'ayyadi.
