Sana'a: The court, prosecution, and security and traffic departments in Hamdan District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a commemorative event to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by several notable figures including the governor's advisor, Amin Issa, the directors of research and training, Ali Zaid, and financial resources for the governorate, Abdu Kathir. District director, Fahd Atiya, highlighted the significance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad to reinforce the values he introduced and to demonstrate true devotion to the message of Islam.
Atiya emphasized that Yemenis have consistently been at the forefront of supporting the Prophet, drawing inspiration from his life and embodying steadfastness and resilience. Judge Abdul Aziz Al-Ansi, head of the Hamdan Court, called for concerted efforts to confront anti-Islamic currents that view celebrating the Prophet's birthday as an innovation intended to distance the nation from its noble Prophet. He stressed that returning to Allah and His Messenger is the way to restore the nation's glory and honor.
The event was attended by the district's security director, Colonel Mohammed Abu Talib, the deputy head of mobilization, Mahdi Al-Najjar, and the Hamdan prosecutor, Ammar Al-Hamzi. Cultural activist Hamdan Askar encouraged the public to use the occasion to demonstrate solidarity and compassion among society members and to embody the Prophet's values and principles in their daily lives.
The gathering included a poem, an operetta, and expressive songs, with participation from court and prosecution employees as well as security and traffic personnel.
Additionally, the General Mobilization Committee in the Shamlan district, alongside event attendees, organized a protest condemning the repeated Zionist and American insults against the Holy Quran. The protest's statement expressed rejection and condemnation of these insults, attributing them to the Zionist-American enemy's deep-seated hatred and provocation of Muslim sentiments.
The statement conveyed that such acts are an expression of enmity towards Islam and Muslims and a demonstration of fear of the Holy Quran, which exposes their history and schemes. It also affirmed full support for the "siege for siege" equation and complete backing for the armed forces in taking measures against the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries, praising the success of recent missile and air strikes targeting Saudi troop concentrations.
