Amran: A series of oratory and cultural events were organized across 'Amran Governorate on Friday to mark the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur'an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Educational Sector in 'Amran Directorate held a central oratory event where First Deputy Governor Abdulaziz Abu Kharfasha highlighted the early stages of the martyr's struggle against the global coalition led by the U.S., warning of the threat posed by the American-Zionist project to the nation.
Zaid Rattas, head of the Educational Sector, outlined the foundations and objectives of the Qur'anic project, emphasizing that today's arrogance and violations by the U.S. and Israel in Palestine and Venezuela demonstrate the necessity of the Qur'anic project as a means for the nation to achieve dignity, success, and victory. He stressed the importance of learning lessons from the martyr's life and translating his principles into practical action, particularly in education and culture, to protect society from intellectual and cultural manipulation.
The Governorate's Security Directorate also held an oratory event attended by Deputy Governors Abu Kharfasha and Hassan Al-Ashqash, senior security leaders, and directors of executive offices. Security Director Brigadier General Naif Abu Kharfasha underlined that the anniversary renews allegiance to the martyr's path and inspires confrontation with forces of global dominance led by the U.S. and Israel. He described the commemoration as a platform for jihad, education, and culture, enhancing awareness, internal security, and thwarting enemy plots.
Brigadier General Taha Al-Hadi, Director of Moral Guidance in the Security Directorate, spoke on the principles of the Qur'anic project, aiming to restore the nation to its human and ethical values.
Additionally, 'Amran University and the University Student Forum held an event attended by University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhal'i. Speakers highlighted the greatness of the martyr's Qur'anic project, presenting it as a revivalist vision for the nation to regain dignity and strength after years of decline due to distancing from the Holy Qur'an.
The events, attended by local, executive, mobilization, and security leaders, as well as social figures, featured choral performances and expressive poetry celebrating the occasion.
