Dhamar: Celebratory events and preparatory activities for the Mawlid al-Nabawi commemoration continued in Dhamar Governorate, with cultural and chanting evenings and expanded meetings held in Dhamar city and the districts of Jahran, Maghrib Ans, Ans, Jabal Al-Sharq, Mayfa'at Ans, Al-Manar, and Wasab Al-Safil.
According to Yemen News Agency, the evenings were organized in government offices, neighborhoods, isolates, and various villages. Local council meetings and expanded gatherings discussed arrangements for participation in the central event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
The districts also witnessed women's events, the conclusion of the "Greatest Messenger" football tournament with the crowning of Al-Hamza School team, and various school activities and morning broadcasts.
Speeches emphasized the status of the Prophet in the hearts of Yemenis, the importance of commemorating the occasion to draw lessons from his biography, strengthen connection to him, and instill the values of his message in younger generations. They called for mass turnout at the central squares.
The events featured poetic recitals, chanting segments, and religious hymns expressing the greatness of the occasion.
