Sana'a: The fourth training workshop on managing and operating the unified government website was concluded in the capital Sana'a. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
According to Yemen News Agency, the three-day workshop aimed to equip 20 trainees from the Ministries of Health, Environment, Electricity and Water, Interior, Justice, and Human Rights with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage and operate the unified website. This included technical, media, content management, and complaint handling aspects.
Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Ali Al-Makni, emphasized the importance of the workshop in enabling those involved to manage their ministries' websites through the unified platform. He affirmed that the project aligns with the Ministry's strategic direction to provide a unified digital platform for government services, thereby facilitating citizens' access to services and streamlining their transactions.
He explained that the website represents a unified identity for all ministries, and that the remaining ministries will be added to it this year, with their specialists receiving training. He also noted that the ministry will organize additional training workshops to further qualify those responsible for government websites.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Deputy Minister and the Undersecretaries for Technical Affairs, Engineer Taha Zabara, and for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mutawakil, honored the participants and presented them with certificates of participation.
