Sana'a: A meeting chaired by the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, discussed the completion of the development of network connectivity procedures between the Ministry, its affiliated entities, and the Tax and Customs Authority, including the single window system at customs ports.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures such as the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Policies, Studies, and Planning, Fouad Al-Junaid, the Executive Director of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Organization, Abdullah Al-Atifi, and the Deputy Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ahmed Shuraim. The discussions focused on activating network connectivity channels and exploring proposals for development and modernization.
Al-Bashiri highlighted the importance of integrating procedures for automating processes between the Ministry, the Standards Authority, and the Tax and Customs Authority to simplify and streamline procedures and expedite transactions. He emphasized the necessity of finding technical solutions to standardize procedures, contributing to improved service development and faster delivery, benefiting citizens and service beneficiaries.
