Sana’a Governorate Official Inspects Concrete Works on Gaza Street Rehabilitation Project

Sana'a: Sana'a Governorate Deputy Governor Eng. Saleh Al-Muntasir inspected the reinforced concrete casting of surface bridges as part of the Gaza Street rehabilitation project in New Sana'a, extending from Al-Khamsin Street to Al-Raad Roundabout.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being implemented by the Executive Unit for Projects under the supervision of the Governorate's Public Works Office. Project officials briefed Al-Muntasir on the final concrete casting works completed during the first phase, which included a 15-centimeter-thick reinforced concrete layer along an 840-meter section from the Al-Khamsin Street intersection to Al-Raad Roundabout. The project covers a width of nine meters, using 110 cubic meters of concrete over a total area of 2,400 square meters, at a cost of YR 65 million.

Al-Muntasir emphasized the local authority's commitment to implementing priority infrastructure projects aimed at improving essential public services. He noted that Gaza Street is one of the city's busiest roads, requiring construction to the highest engineering and technical standards to ensure durability and quality.

For their part, Project Manager Eng. Mohammed Al-Shami and Project Supervisor Eng. Nabil Al-Ansi stated that the work was carried out according to the approved plan. They added that technical and engineering teams made intensive efforts to complete the project on schedule while fully complying with the approved engineering specifications.
