Raymah: The training course for the main planning team in the districts concluded on Monday in Raymah Governorate. The course focused on updating situational analysis studies and preparing the integrated developmental strategic plan for the years 1448-1450 AH, along with the executive plan for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seven-day course, organized by the Governorate Planning Sector in coordination with the General Mobilization Authority and Bonyan Foundation, aimed to equip 53 trainees-including directors of executive offices in the governorate, district leaders, mobilization officials, and agricultural association representatives-with knowledge and skills in analyzing the current situation and deriving executive plans, following a participatory rapid assessment methodology.
During the closing session, Deputy Governor Mohamed Murad emphasized that the course represents a fundamental pillar for advancing the developmental reality in the governorate by enhancing participants' capacities in qualitative research and promoting sound, community-based planning that accurately identifies needs and drives development at both the district and sub-district levels. He stressed the importance of everyone taking responsibility by applying the course outcomes, which will serve as a roadmap for developing sustainable programs and projects in the districts, focusing on the integration of available resources with the needs of the local community.
Meanwhile, the governorate's mobilization official, Mohamed Al-Nahari, noted that the current stage requires everyone to recognize their responsibility and to translate the outcomes of this specialized course into practical results that citizens can experience across all areas of life.
For his part, the head of the Governorate Planning Sector, Emad Jarfan, described the course as an important step in identifying developmental priorities in human, social, and economic fields, enabling the design of practical interventions that contribute to sustainable development.
Bonyan Foundation's local representative, Majid Al-Sharjabi, highlighted that the partnership in this initiative aims to strengthen an integrated developmental work model and activate community initiatives to reduce service gaps and transform current challenges into sustainable economic opportunities.
