Conclusion of ‘Faith Identity’ and ‘Martyr Leader’ Tournaments in Bani Hushaish

Sana'a: The 'Faith Identity' and 'Martyr Leader' school tournaments concluded on Sunday in Bani Hushaish district of Sana'a governorate, in the presence of Shura Council member Mohammed Mufaddal.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the Martyr Leader Tournament, Rowad Al-Nokhba School and Jawaher Al-Ilm School competed for the title, with Rowad Al-Nokhba claiming victory with a 1-0 scoreline. The Faith Identity Tournament title was secured by Abu Mohammed Al-Husseini School, which won against 26 September School through penalties, ending with a 4-2 result.

The winners of the tournaments were awarded trophies and gold medals, while the runners-up received silver medals. Additionally, members of the organizing committee were acknowledged with certificates of appreciation.

Director of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, Abdulmohsen Al-Sharif, commended the organization of the events, highlighting the role of such sports activities in fostering brotherhood among youth and enhancing their skills.

District Youth and Sports Director Malik Al-Khouli noted that the tournaments spanned 24 days and included the participation of 52 teams, making it the largest school sports event in the governorate for 1447 AH.

Education sector official in the district, Sabri Al-Qahm, emphasized the significance of these activities in increasing youth awareness and developing their physical and technical capabilities.
