Raymah: The Youth and Sports Office and the youth unit of the mobilization in Raymah province today concluded the sports tournament for summer school students for the year 1447H organized by the office in coordination with the education office in the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Al Jabin team emerged victorious in the sports tournament by defeating the Bilad At Taam team 3-2 in the final match held at Al Madman stadium. The tournament spanned 30 days, involving 71 sports teams under the supervision of the supreme committee for summer activities and courses and the subcommittee in the province.
At the conclusion, the director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Mohammed Al Nahiti, emphasized the significance of sports activities in enhancing awareness, discipline, and team spirit among students. He also highlighted their role in discovering sports talents and encouraging youth to invest their time in beneficial activities.
He explained that the tournament is part of the programs and activities accompanying the summer courses aimed at building a conscious, educated generation adhering to national and faith values.
The director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, along with the director of Bilad At Taam district, Yahya Al Hamami, presented the tournament cup and gold medals to the Al Jabin district team and silver medals to the Bilad At Taam district team. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to both teams, participants, and helpers.
