Conclusion of Training, Qualification Course for Media Professionals & Activists in Dhamar

Dhamar: A first-level training and qualification course for media professionals, titled 'Sacred Jihad' batch, concluded today in Dhamar Governorate. The course was organized by the Mobilization Authority in coordination with the local authority.

According to Yemen News Agency, over the course of 10 days, the program aimed to provide 28 media personnel and activists with information and knowledge on the foundations and principles of media work according to the methodology of the Holy Qur'an, as well as the consequences of misusing the blessing of expression, whether spoken or written, and its impact on the individual, society, and the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡¡€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬°.

At the closing ceremony, Dhamar Governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of such courses in improving the performance of media cadres and activists, and in strengthening their role in promoting moral values and confronting the media campaigns of the enemies of the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡¡€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬°. He emphasized embodying the values and principles of Islam in practice as a way of life, and enhancing cooperation and integration in media work, noting that the successes achieved in administrative and other fields in the governorate were the result of constructive engagement, collective work, and credibility.

Al-Bukhaiti pointed to the continued efforts of the local authority in reform and development, implementing the Qur'anic methodology, and strengthening internal cohesion, praising all efforts exerted in organizing mobilization courses and workshops across the governorate and districts.

For his part, the governorate's Mobilization Official Ahmed al-Dhurani affirmed that the media front is no less important than the military front, considering the media sphere one of the main tools used by enemies to target societies internally, and one of the most important arenas for fortifying the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡¡€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬° and the internal front. He referred to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution to media professionals and their role during the current stage, amid what he described as the Zionist-American aggression against the axis of jihad and resistance, and highlighted the role of media in this battle.

He expressed hope that the graduates would become champions of the word of truth, defenders of the oppressed, and active contributors in the battle of sacred jihad and in confronting campaigns of misinformation and falsification targeting the awareness of the peoples of the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡¡€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬°.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Governorate Media Office, Abdulqader al-Gharasi, speaking on behalf of the graduates, addressed the importance of the course in providing a group of media professionals and activists with knowledge, guidance, awareness, insight, Qur'anic culture, jurisprudence, and the prophetic biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. He praised the lectures included in the course from the 'Martyr of the Qur'an' and the Leader of the Revolution, as well as discussions on religious issues and misconceptions and distorted cultures, commending the efforts made to organize and ensure the success of the course and the competence of those supervising it.

He affirmed the participants' commitment to continuing the faithful path, collective work, and applying what they had learned in practical reality. In turn, the governorate's media system official, Sharaf al-Rahbi, explained that the course comes within the framework of a program to build and qualify media personnel and social media activists, enabling them to operate in the media field according to divine guidance.

He reviewed the information and knowledge included in the course and its objectives in strengthening faith-based identity and Qur'anic culture, and enhancing the role of media professionals in raising awareness and confronting misinformation campaigns and the 'soft war' targeting the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¡¡€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬°, its values, and its principles. At the conclusion of the event, the graduates were honored with certificates of appreciation and were presented with gifts, copies of the Qur'an, and cultural booklets.
