Conclusion of Unity Equestrian Championship in Capital Sanaa

Sanaa: The competitions of the Unity Show Jumping Championship concluded today in Sanaa, organized by the Equestrian Academy of the Sanaa Unity Club within the tenth summer forum, coinciding with the celebration of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen on May 22.

According to Yemen News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including the Minister of Finance Abduljabbar Ahmed, the Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, the Deputy Ministers of Youth and Sports Nabeh Nasser, and of Information Dr. Omar Al Bukhaiti. The Secretary General of the Capital Secretariat Local Council and President of the Unity Club, Amin Jumaan, was also present. The ceremony witnessed the final stage competitions of the championship in the adults category, where five riders competed over five rounds on five different horses each.

The final races saw rider Elyas Al Khamisi from Jalab Stable winning the title. His teammate, Hussein Al Qumali, finished as the runner-up, while Suhail Al Ariqi from the Unity Academy secured third place. Aiham Al Halali from Haraz Cafe and Ahmed Al Banna from the Unity Academy followed in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

At the conclusion, the winners of the championship in various groups and categories were honored with colorful cups and medals. Additionally, the Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Youth were honored with shields from the Equestrian Academy of the Sanaa Unity Club. Leading figures and personalities in equestrian sports were also recognized for their contributions.
