Cooperatives in Hodeida Organize Parties to Revive Prophet’s Birthday

Hodeida: The Tehama Coast Fisheries Cooperative Society, in cooperation with the Naval Forces, Coast Guard, and the General Authority for Fisheries, organized a cultural evening in the Taif region of Doraihimi District to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches and awareness-raising segments that highlighted the life and teachings of the Noble Messenger, emphasizing lessons of solidarity, community unity, and faith identity. Speakers acknowledged the vital role fishermen play in serving the local community and ensuring food security. They emphasized that fishermen's connection to the sea symbolizes patience and resilience, inspired by the Prophet's life.

The speakers also noted that fishermen's involvement in these celebrations demonstrates their understanding of the occasion's significance and their active role in community building and fisheries protection. The event underscored that celebrating the Prophet's birthday revives the values of Muhammad amidst challenges and promotes principles of mercy and justice within society.

Similarly, the Tehama Coast Association organized another cultural evening at the Al-Khobah Fish Port in Al-Luhayyah District under the theme "The Messenger of Allah Unites Us," in collaboration with the Coast Guard, the General Authority for Fisheries, and various official and security agencies.

The speeches at this event highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday in reviving faith and resilience, asserting that this occasion represents Yemenis' commitment to their faith against efforts to erase their Islamic identity. The events included hymns, cultural segments, and speeches by officials and social figures, illustrating the joy and importance of the occasion to the people of Tehama.
