Taiz: The Yemeni Economic Corporation - Marketing and Agricultural Services Sector (Taiz Central Market) organized a cultural evening to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, emphasizing the importance of the occasion under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures, including Shura Council member Mahmoud Bajash, governor's deputies, and the head of the Mobilization Committee, Mansour Saddam. Noman Al-Hamri, the governorate's General Mobilization Officer, highlighted the Prophet Muhammad's divine journey rooted in truth, justice, and jihad in the path of Allah. Al-Khalidi explained that jihad encompasses more than combat; it includes words, education, and patience, inspired by significant historical battles like Badr, Uhud, and the Confederates. The commemoration serves as a renewal of the spirit of jihad and a stand against adversities.
In attendance was Abdullah Al-Hamli, Director of the Economic Foundation, and Mohammed Al-Wazir, Director of Moral Guidance at the Foundation, who asserted that the occasion symbolizes the nation's resolute stance against tyrannical forces and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. They stressed the nation's commitment to the Prophet's teachings, regardless of the challenges they face.
Ahmed Mahjar, Deputy Director of Activities at the Ministry of Education, remarked that the Prophet's birth is a moment of faith, where the Yemeni people reaffirm their commitment to the Messenger of Allah. This event is seen as an inspiration to uphold their religious and moral duties, pursuing freedom and victory for the oppressed while building a resilient nation.
The evening program included directors from various departments such as media, civil affairs, endowments, social affairs and labor, and security, along with scholars and social figures. Attendees enjoyed poetry recitals, an operetta, anthems, and a theatrical performance, marking the celebration with creative expressions.
