Arhab District Launches Free Surgical Camp, Hosts Event for Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: The Health Sector in Arhab district in the capital Sana'a on Monday organized a celebratory event and inaugurated a free surgical camp today in honor of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday, highlighting Yemenis' devotion to the Messenger and their commitment to serving the community.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event, held at Omrah Rural Hospital in the presence of Province undersecretary Fadl al-Qaseer, featured speeches emphasizing the spiritual and moral significance of the Prophet's birth, inspiring reflection on values of honesty, compassion, and public service.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Tuhaif, Hospital Director, described the Prophet's birth as a turning point in human history, illuminating justice, mercy, and brotherhood, while calling on health workers to embody these principles through quality medical services.

Concurrently, the newly launched surgical camp, in collaboration with Zakat Office, will provide free operations for ENT issues, hernia, gallbladder, appendix, cysts, skin glands, hemorrhoids, and cleft lip, reinforcing the role of health initiatives in community welfare during the celebrations.
