Aden:The General Federation of Yemeni Trade Unions has condemned the deportation of workers from northern governorates, including Taiz, from the city of Aden and surrounding areas such as Lahj and Al-Dhale. The federation described these actions as part of a larger scheme by occupying forces to fragment Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, the federation's statement criticized the actions of Saudi forces and their mercenaries in Aden, labeling them as racist and in violation of national and humanitarian values. This statement also highlighted that the deportation was documented by numerous activists and observers, revealing a long-standing agenda to divide the Yemeni social fabric.
The federation further explained that workers from the northern governorates were forcibly displaced on large transport vehicles, leaving behind their livelihoods and properties. They stated that these acts were sanctioned and supported by Saudi authorities, who directly oversee the operations.
In response to these events, the federation praised the efforts of local authorities in unaffected areas for assisting displaced workers by helping them reunite with their families. They urged the people of the southern governorates to speak out against these actions and called for global condemnation from human rights and trade union organizations.
