Rome:Jawf The Public Corporation for Grain Development and Production has provided farmers in the Jawf province with 29,643 bags of improved wheat seeds. This distribution is aimed at supporting the agricultural season for the years 2026-2027.
According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution was organized in coordination with the governorate's agricultural sector. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance local grain production and ensure food security in the region. The corporation confirmed the availability of sufficient stocks of high-quality certified seeds and encouraged farmers and investors to register their requirements.
Furthermore, the corporation has assured farmers that there will be no delays in payments for wheat supplied in the previous year. Financial measures have been put in place to guarantee that farmers are paid immediately upon the delivery of their harvest.
