Sana'a: The Ma'in District of Sana'a City hosted nine events commemorating the Prophet's birthday. Residents of the Andalusia neighborhood in the Madbah district, in collaboration with the Higher Academy for the Holy Quran and its Sciences, held an evening gathering. During this event, Assistant Undersecretary of the Sana'a Secretariat, Sami Sharaf al-Din, along with members of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Hizam al-Assad and the Yemeni Scholars Association, Saleh al-Khawlani, spoke against the Zionist aggression on the capital, highlighting the impact on civilian and service facilities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression was described as a war crime and a blatant breach of international and humanitarian laws. The speakers emphasized that these attacks would not weaken the Yemeni resolve to support and defend the people of Gaza, who are enduring severe hardships due to the actions of the Zionist entity and its American ally.
The gatherings also served as a platform to reaffirm dedication to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, promoting his example and the spirit of resistance against perceived adversaries, including America and Israel. The events underscored the commitment to support the Palestinian cause until the aggression ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted, regardless of any obstacles.
Residents from other neighborhoods, including Al-Barakah, Al-Tayseer Al-Sharqiya, and Al-Jawiya Al-Shamlan, among others, also organized events. These gatherings featured stories from the Prophet's life, emphasizing his virtues and values. The importance of celebrating the Prophet's birth was highlighted as a means to strengthen community bonds and inspire emulation of his character.
The events included participation from various officials and community leaders, such as Dr. Abdul-Raouf Al-Shawkani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture for the Animal Resources Sector, and Sharaf Al-Warith, Director of Neighborhood Affairs at the Secretariat. Large numbers of residents attended, enjoying cultural performances, hymns, poems, folklore, and religious songs in honor of the Prophet.
