Sana'a: Officials from the Ministries of Local Administration and Interior discussed on Tuesday strengthening coordination and cooperation in mobilization and security fields during a meeting held in the capital Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development Nasser al-Mahdhar stressed the importance of enhancing joint efforts between local authorities and security agencies to support security achievements and improve administrative units in development, services, and mobilization. He praised the role of the Interior Ministry in maintaining stability and public order.
Deputy Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Abdulmajeed al-Murtadha highlighted the need to assess district-level performance and improve the effectiveness of executive and security bodies. He also emphasized boosting community efforts to end tribal feuds and promote reconciliation, alongside strengthening coordination to enhance security and development across governorates and districts.
