Criminal Division Upholds Death Sentence Against Two Al-Qaeda Members

Sanaa: The Specialized Criminal Division in the capital has upheld the death sentence against two members of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda. In a session chaired by Judge Abdullah Ali Al-Najjar, the division accepted the appeal filed by the two convicts, Riyadh Rafiq Ahmed Ali Al-Amiri and Al-Muntasir Saleh Ghaleb Al-Waqidi, in form, as it was submitted within the legal deadline, and upheld the initial ruling against them.

According to Yemen News Agency, the decision came after a thorough review of the case, ensuring that all legal procedures were duly followed. The court meticulously examined the details of the appeal before reaching its conclusion to maintain the original sentence. The case has drawn significant attention due to the individuals' association with Al-Qaeda and the serious nature of their crimes.
