Taiz: The General Military Hospital and the Military Medical Services Department in Taiz organized a cultural evening to commemorate Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) with the theme "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master." The event underscored the faith-based significance of Yawm al-Wilayah as a symbol of the completion of religion and the perfection of divine blessing.

According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers at the event highlighted the concept of guardianship (wilayah) as a protective measure against confusion and subservience to tyrants. They emphasized the importance of the Ghadir Khumm event as a pivotal milestone and discussed the historical connection of Yemenis to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The speakers also affirmed that Yemen's stance in confronting nations such as America, Israel, and Britain is a result of adhering to the covenant of wilayah and the Quranic path. They warned against deviating from this path and called for widespread participation in Yawm al-Wilayah events. The cultural evening featured a poem, anthems, and the traditional Bara'a dance.
