Beirut: A cultural evening was held in the areas of Al-Maqa'isha and Khasharb Al-Sharqi in the Al-Qanawis District of Al Hodeidah Governorate, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the slogan: 'Never shall we accept humiliation.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches that highlighted the significance of Ashura, the tragedy of Karbala, and the painful Day of Taff. The discussions reviewed the magnitude of the suffering and the injustice that befell the nation at that time, following the targeting of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

The speeches drew connections between past and present, considering the honorable stance of the Yemeni people in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation as an extension of the path of truth and the revolution of Imam Hussein against tyranny. They emphasized the Yemeni people's steadfastness and resilience, embodying the values of Imam Hussein's revolution by maintaining their supportive position toward Palestine and confronting aggression and blockades.

Speakers urged continued mobilization and response to leadership directives in general mobilization efforts, emphasizing the need for readiness and preparedness to secure the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people. They called for efforts to cleanse the country of invaders and occupiers, and to end the blockade and suffering imposed on the nation.
