Al-mahwit: A cultural evening was organized in the districts of Al-Madina and Jabal Al-Mahwit to mark the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) under the slogan 'Victory, by the Lord of the Kaaba.' The event was attended by the Secretary-General of the local governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Zaykom, deputy governors, directors of executive offices, district directors, and prominent social figures. Speeches highlighted the importance of commemorating this occasion, emphasizing its significance in reflecting the true image of the noble Islamic religion and the deviations that arose following the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches addressed Imam Ali's (peace be upon him) role in confronting the people of polytheism and misguidance and in struggling against falsehood and disbelief. They stressed the importance of making the most of the nights and days of the holy month, benefiting from the Ramadan program, and drawing closer to Allah through His guidance and obedience.
The speakers emphasized the need to strengthen resilience and steadfastness, continue mobilization and support for Al-Aqsa, and back the Palestinian resistance. They also highlighted the importance of sincerely returning to Allah, adhering to the Holy Qur'an, emulating the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and following the path of his pure household, as a means of enhancing faith, taking responsibility for supporting the nation's causes, and defending them.
