Hajjah: A cultural evening was held in the Abs District Reserve in Hajjah Governorate yesterday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the Day of Al-Furqan (the Day of Distinction).

According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, Judge Ali Al-Habashi, Deputy Prosecutor of Abs, emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons in strengthening faith and jihad, and to solidify the values of steadfastness and resilience.

Al-Habashi reviewed the significance of the Battle of Badr, the stances of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and his wisdom in planning and managing the battle, and the resounding victory it achieved, which marked a turning point in the history of Islam between truth and falsehood.

He also discussed the courage of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and his companions, their sacrifices, and their bravery in supporting Islam, and the relationship between the Imam of the pious and the people of wisdom and faith.

He pointed out that the Yemeni people today continue on the same path of faith in confronting the forces of global arrogance under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.

In the evening, in the presence of the reformatory director, Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Al-Matari, cultural activist Ibrahim Suwan pointed out that the descendants of the Ansar continue today to carry the banner of defending the Islamic faith, inspired by the stances of their ancestors in supporting the message of Muhammad and standing with truth against the forces of tyranny.

He also addressed the current developments in the region and the repercussions of the American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering it an extension of the struggle between right and wrong.
