Capital secretariat: Residents of Ammar bin Yasser and Qalala neighborhoods in Ma'in District organized a cultural evening to celebrate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, attended by Capital Secretary Dr. Hamoud Abbad.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ansarullah Political Bureau member Abdullah Al-Naami emphasized that the celebration is more than a traditional event; it's a spiritual opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life and teachings. Al-Naami highlighted the occasion as a time for Yemenis to express their love and reverence for the Prophet, reaffirm their commitment to his guidance, and embody his noble character in all aspects of life.
Al-Naami elaborated on the lasting influence of the Prophet's life as a model for confronting tyranny and defending the Muslim nation's fundamental causes. He reviewed the Prophet's life, emphasizing its values, principles, and exemplary positions, along with the Prophet's pivotal role in building the Muslim nation and consolidating justice and solidarity.
Al-Naami also praised the role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet and the Islamic call, noting their participation in the Islamic conquests as a genuine model of Islam and loyalty to the Prophet's message. He stressed the need for the Muslim nation to return to the Prophet's path as a means to confront global powers and defend national sovereignty.
Cultural activist Badr Alawi, present at the event along with Capital Secretariat General Directorate of Neighborhoods Director Sharaf Al-Wareth, underscored the significance of commemorating this religious occasion. Alawi stated that it serves as an opportunity to strengthen people's connection and loyalty to the Prophet, follow his example, and adhere to his teachings to reinforce resilience against aggression. He noted that honoring the Prophet's birthday is a chance to recall his noble life and reaffirm the values and principles he upheld, guiding people toward truth and success.
