Sanaa: The Moral Guidance Department of the Armed Forces on Wednesday held a speech event to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, attended by Advisor to the Chief of the General Staff Brigadier General Ali Al-Harazi and a number of military leaders and officers, Director of the Moral Guidance Department and Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree addressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, stemming from the greatness of the Prophet Muhammad.
He noted that the significant occasion provides an important opportunity to reflect on the Noble Prophet, his mission, approach, and message, as well as the state of the Muslim nation before and after his mission.
Brigadier General Saree affirmed that the Prophet's birthday is a unifying occasion that represents an important foundation for Islamic unity, serving as an opportunity to recall the key common principles that guide the nation's course and contribute to its development.
He explained that celebrating the Prophet's birthday carries important significance as an expression of loyalty to the Messenger of Allah, emulating him, and following the righteous path he established.
