Cultural Evenings Commemorate Imam Hussein Martyrdom in Al-Hali District

Al-hali district: Residents of Al-Bayda and 7 July neighborhoods, along with the Health Office in Al-Hali District of Hodeidah Governorate, organized cultural evenings to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The events took place on Monday and were attended by District Director Moayad Al-Moayad, Mobilization Official Nabil Al-Wajeeh, Education Official Hassan Wahban, and Guidance Official Murai Al-Madinah.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the events highlighted the significance of Ashura and the values of sacrifice, steadfastness, and patience it embodies in confronting challenges. They reviewed the painful events of Karbala, describing the tragedy as a defining moment in Islamic history that distinguished truth from falsehood.

The speakers emphasized that Imam Hussein's revolution remains a comprehensive school of freedom, dignity, and rejection of oppression and tyranny. They noted that the sacrifices made in Karbala represented the highest ideals of devotion in defending faith and reforming the nation.

Furthermore, the speakers stressed the importance of drawing lessons from the occasion, reinforcing the values of resilience, steadfastness, and awareness. They highlighted the principles for which the Prophet's grandson sacrificed his life in confronting the challenges and conspiracies facing the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation.
