Sana'a: Maeen District in the Capital Secretariat witnessed a series of cultural and speech events in several neighborhoods and localities celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, in the Southern Mazbah neighborhood, a celebratory evening was held for the residents of Diba'a, Al-Gharz, and Al-Awdiya Al-Kubra neighborhoods, with wide official and community attendance. During the evening, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, member of the Political Office of Ansar Allah, highlighted the importance of commemorating the birth of the Greatest Messenger and remaining loyal to him by supporting the brothers in Gaza, who are suffering from mass atrocities and starvation. He denounced the silence and inaction of Arab rulers complicit in oppressing the people of Gaza.
Dr. Al-Mutawakkil emphasized that, despite the distance, the Yemeni people have not neglected their duties toward Palestine and Gaza due to their deep connection to the Prophet and adherence to his righteous path. He affirmed that victory will accompany the people of Gaza and the Yemeni nation, and that the regimes of betrayal and collaboration will ultimately fall. He also called on everyone to continue organizing events and activities in various forms, participate in "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses, and prepare to confront the enemy.
For his part, Sami Sharaf Al-Din, Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat, stressed the importance of engaging with events commemorating the Prophet's birthday, which reflect the Prophet's mission and frustrate his enemies. He noted that the Yemeni people clearly understand that their true enemies are the United States and Israel, and that any conspiracies or plots to destabilize security will fail thanks to the awareness, steadfastness, and sacrifices of the people.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Jalal Al-Jalal, the local head of Al-Gharz neighborhood, praised everyone who contributed to the success of the cultural evening, highlighting the efforts and active participation of the local communities in celebrating this religious occasion. The evening, attended by local and executive leaders, tribal sheikhs, social figures, neighborhood heads, and civil mobilization officials, featured cultural and singing performances expressing joy for the Prophet's birthday.
Similar Muhammad-themed evenings were organized by the residents of Al-Manzar in Asr neighborhood, Rahq Wadi Al-Ahlaa in Al-Sanina neighborhood, Majel Al-Sama in Al-Daeri neighborhood, Al-Hadith School in Al-Qubba neighborhood, Al-Muntaza, and Al-Furqan School in Shumlan neighborhood, celebrating this occasion. The events included speeches and cultural and musical segments, with participation from Saleh Al-Khawlani of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Dr. Mohammed Al-Junaid, Director of the Finance Office of the Secretariat, and Sharaf Al-Warith, Head of Neighborhood Affairs. The activities highlighted the significance of the occasion for the hearts of the Yemeni people.
Speeches emphasized drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet Muhammad, implementing them in the nation's reality to correct its course, restore its dignity and honor, and follow the Prophet's righteous path to confront enemies and thwart their criminal conspiracies targeting the nation and its sacred sites.
