Hudaydah: An evening celebration was held in Bilad al-Rabsa, al-Hali District, Hudaydah Governorate, to mark the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.' Speaking at the event, organizer Mohammed Al-Almani stressed the importance of unity and social cohesion in facing challenges, and of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life to strengthen steadfastness and resilience. He noted that the commemoration serves as a renewed opportunity to reinforce both spiritual and social bonds within the community.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Almani added that reviving this occasion in Bilad al-Rabsa embodies loyalty to the Messenger of Allah and reflects the deep faith and belonging of the people of Tihama, highlighting the active participation of community leaders and residents in honoring the greatness of the Prophet's birth.
For his part, al-Hali District's Local Council Secretary-General Saleh Al-Harazi affirmed that celebrating the Prophet's birth reflects the authentic Muhammadan values and illustrates Yemenis' strong connection to the Prophet, emphasizing that upholding these values is the foundation of a cohesive society capable of facing challenges with unwavering faith.
Meanwhile, local official Ali Muafa underscored the significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis and their keenness to commemorate it in a way that reflects their deep bond with the Prophet. He added that the wide participation in such events sends a collective message in the face of attempts to erase the Islamic identity of the Ummah.
The evening included speeches and religious chants expressing the greatness of the occasion and its place in the hearts of Yemenis, serving as a unifying message to strengthen faith identity and promote values of compassion and solidarity.
