Marib: Cultural evenings were held in the districts of Sirwah, Harib al-Qaramish, and Rahbah in Marib Governorate to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, in Sirwah District, a cultural evening was organized with the presence of Marib Governor Ali Tuaiman and the governorate's Public Mobilization Officer, Badr al-Majash. During the event, the district director, Mar'i al-Amiri, discussed aspects of Imam Ali's life, including his struggles, knowledge, and significant contributions in support of Islam and Muslims, as well as his efforts to confront forces of disbelief and ignorance.
Speeches highlighted the current challenges faced by the Muslim nation from America and Israel, emphasizing the need for preparedness to counteract schemes targeting the peoples of the nation.
In Harib al-Qaramish district, a similar event was attended by Shura Council member Dhiab Dhiab. Abdullah al-Sharif, the governorate's media office director, and Mohammed Alwan, director of the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority branch, spoke about Imam Ali's virtues and the deviation experienced by the nation following his martyrdom due to reliance on unjust rulers and hypocritical imams.
Another event took place in the Rahba district, where Ali Hamid, head of the Guidance and Cultural Unity sector, stressed the importance of returning to Allah sincerely, adhering to Quranic culture and the Prophet's pure progeny, and rejecting misguided ideologies that have led to the nation's misguidance and inaction against its enemies.
