Al-hudaydah: Cultural evenings and seminars were organized in the districts of Al-Munirah, Al-Hali, and As Sukhnah in Al-Hudaydah province on the occasion of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day) for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Al-Munirah district, a cultural evening was held, attended by the guidance official and the district director. The event emphasized the importance of the principle of guardianship (wilayah) in immunizing the nation and protecting it from its enemies, while also reviewing lessons from the biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The evening included choral segments and a poem.
In Al-Hali district, an evening event took place in the Shamsan and July 7 squares, attended by the local secretary of the district and the director of education. The focus was on the significance of commemorating this occasion and its impact on strengthening faith-based identity, featuring poetic and choral segments.
In As Sukhnah district, the Endowments and Guidance Office along with the Scholars and Learners Unit organized a cultural seminar. The session addressed the status of Ghadir Day in Islamic history and explored the concept of guardianship (wilayah) from a Quranic perspective as a safety valve for the nation in facing challenges and restoring dignity and honor.
