Sana'a: The Al-Tahrir District in Sana'a held a cultural event marking the 11th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution under the slogan 'Freedom and Independence.' Speakers, led by Sheikh Taha al-Hadri, emphasized that the revolution ended U.S. guardianship and foreign domination over Yemen's political decision-making.
According to Yemen News Agency, they highlighted that the revolution thwarted plans to divide Yemen, reinforced the nation's faith-based and resistant identity against U.S.-Israeli hegemony, and strengthened Yemen's position in support of Palestine. The event also underscored that the revolution was the outcome of decades of oppression and corruption, representing a conscious popular uprising that opened the path for change and independence.
